OASIS INSIGHTS
Giving Thanks for Our Diverse and Experienced Event Team

In less than a second, a search engine populates the definition of gratitude as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. With Fall in full swing and the holidays upon us, it’s an excellent time to hit pause and reflect on what we have to be thankful for or more importantly, who! We are ready to show appreciation for the real stars of our events - our diversely talented staffing network.
Producing and managing live events requires a broad skill set, particularly when focusing on the wants and needs of families and engaging audiences of all ages. Unsurprisingly, our field staff has a myriad of entertainment credits in their pockets, ranging from puppetry to mascot work to costume and set design, writing, producing, directing, acting, choreographing, hosting, and even creating visual effects for feature films. They’ve performed in theme parks and on cruise ships, taught theatre intensives, worked as stuntmen, been in Tony and Emmy winning productions and even earned the title of Master Trainer for mega-brand Nickelodeon.
But, that’s not all.
The animal trainer on our crew uses caregiver skills to observe behavior and anticipate needs. Our Marine draws upon military training to lead effectively and assess situations. Our social media influencers and professional photographers polish our aesthetics and engage the community. Our certified fitness instructor gives everyone motivation to push themselves just a bit harder with encouragement and confidence. Our teachers selflessly parse out their energy to ensure the success of the whole. Our parents use their patience and wit to look at the big picture. And our mother of twins? Well, she can basically handle anything at this point.
What can we say? With a staff like this, the static internet definition may not be sufficient in sharing our sentiment of gratitude for those we call our event family.
